The Sales Enablement Associate plays a key role in supporting client engagement and driving marketing initiatives. This position facilitates effective communication between client contacts and Research Directors, ensuring smooth sales conversations. The Associate executes and manages marketing efforts, drafting initial materials for senior-level review. They oversee social media, CRM systems, and other marketing technologies to optimize outreach and coordination. Additionally, they organize client-related events, conference activities, and handle email communications and other non-public-facing client interactions to maintain strong relationships and operational excellence.

This is a hybrid role based out of our Chicago, IL office.

Core Responsibilities

Marketing Operations:

  • Execute and manage strategic marketing initiatives, including email campaigns, social media posts, and content creation.
  • Draft marketing materials and coordinate approvals with senior team members.
  • Oversee the company’s presence on social media platforms and maintain the content calendar.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for content development, campaign planning, and marketing materials creation.

CRM and Technology Management:

  • Manage the organization’s CRM system, ensuring accurate data entry and regular updates.
  • Monitor and optimize marketing and sales technologies to improve workflows and outcomes.
  • Generate reports on CRM and campaign performance to inform strategic decisions.

Event Coordination:

  • Organize and manage logistics for client-related events, including webinars, conferences, and on-site meetings.
  • Coordinate conference attendance, ensuring all materials and schedules are prepared.

Operational Excellence:

  • Collaborate across departments to align sales and marketing efforts with broader organizational goals.
  • Develop and maintain standardized templates and processes to improve efficiency and consistency.
  • Address ad-hoc operational needs as they arise to support sales and marketing functions.

Qualification

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
  • Approximately 2 years of experience in a sales, marketing, or operational support role.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and Marketing platforms (HubSpot preferred)
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (with an emphasis on PowerPoint efficiency)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Prior experience with major LLMs (ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, etc.) and demonstrated ability to craft effective prompts is essential.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
  • Detail-oriented with a proactive problem-solving approach.

For this role, the anticipated base salary range is provided below. In addition to base salary, the total compensation package may include discretionary bonuses, benefits, and, for sales roles, potential sales commissions.

The final base salary offered will depend on factors such as the market, your skills, capabilities, and relevant experience, which will be objectively evaluated during the interview process. Base Salary Range (US)

$70,000 — $80,000 USD
